About John Doherty (Little Hours)

“Little Hours” are an Irish pop-folk duo, consisting of members John Doherty and previously Ryan McCloskey. They formed in 2014.

Their debut single “It’s Still Love” was released to positive reviews and a nomination at the Meteor Choice Awards. This was the lead single to their self-titled debut E.P (released in 2015) and lead them to signing a contract with Sony Music. They followed this up with another E.P. titled “Too Much Patience” in 2017.

Since then they have supported acts such as Kodaline, James Bay, Gavin James and The Coronas on tour.

In 2017, Ryan McCloskey announced he was leaving Little Hours, but insisted that there had been “no falling out” between him and John.
John has carried on releasing music under the band name, with a brand new single “Heavy On You” released in March 2018.
