Joel Plaskett is a Canadian rock musician and songwriter based in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Plaskett has preformed in a number of genres including Blues, Folk, Hard Rock, Country, and Pop. Plaskett is a multiple JUNO Award winner, celebrated songwriter, has appeared several times on the Polaris Music Prize Short List, and sold out clubs and concert halls from one side of the country to the other.
