Joe Logan Diffie was born December 28th, 1958 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Joe R. Diffie. Diffie passed away on March 29th, 2020 due to complications from the corona virus pandemic.
In 1977, Joe married Janise Parker and they had two children, Parker & Kara. They divorced and he married Debra Kay Jones on August 29, 1987. He had two more children with her, Drew & Tyler. In 1994 Debbie filed for divorce, listing adultery as grounds. In 2000, Joe married Theresa Crump and they have one child together, Kylie Tarissa, who was born on May 1, 2004. The singer-songwriter has won three awards; 1990’s Cash Box Male Vocalist of the Year; 1993’s Academy of Country Music Vocal Event of the Year for “I Don’t Need Your Rockin' Chair” with George Jones and friends; and 1998’s Grammy, Best Country Collaboration with Vocals for “Same Old Train” with Clint Black and friends.
Diffie is known for hits such as “Home” and “Pickup Man”.
