Joe Allison

Joe Marion Allison was born in McKinney, Texas on October 3, 1924 and died in Nashville, Tennessee on August 2, 2002.

He was a disc jockey and country songwriter who was active from the 1940’s through the 1960’s.

He was inducted into the Country Disc Jockey Hall of Fame in 1976 and into the Nashville Songwriters Hall Of Fame in 1978.
