Michael Francis better known as “JNYR” was born and raised in Toronto, Canada. He began writing music at the age of 12 as he was inspired by the likes of Montell Jordan, Avant, Brandy, Usher and Ludacris. This passion pushed him to record on his own as he showcased his musical creativity through nostalgic melodies while maintaining a very modern R&B feel. After hearing him perform at a number of showcases he signed with CDM Music Group in 2017.
