Jim Hoke is a songwriter, producer, arranger and multi-instrumentalist from Nashville who has worked on albums and tracks with a seemingly endless amount of artists, such as Stevie Wonder, Megan Trainer, Andy Williams, Billy Joel, Dolly Parton, Janis Ian, Kenny Rogers, John Oates and many, many more. Beginning his professional collaborations in around 1989, Hoke has played every instrument you can think of.
Some of the instruments he has played on professional records are: banjo, accordion, bass guitar, harmonica, various types of harp, bell tree, kalimba, celeste, clarinet, dobro, drums, dulcimer, flute, glockenspiel, horn, hurdy-gurdy, keyboards, mandolin, marimba, ocarina, organ, pedal steel, penny whistle (tin whistle), percussion, piano, recorder, saxophone, sitar, trumpet, ukulele, vibraphone, wurtilizer, zither and also added vocals and vocal harmonies to recordings. Despite playing so many instruments, he has outstanding talent in each and every one.
