Jim Duguid is a song writer and Musician from Glasgow who lives in London.
Originally founding member and drummer with Scottish pop band Speedway, after 1 top 10 and a couple of top 40 uk chart hits, Jim befriended you Scottish Singer Paolo Nutini. Duguid mentored and assisted Nutini in the writing and development of his Brit Nominated Debut Album these Streets. Jim also performed Live with Nutini between 2003 and 2009.
He has been working with many artists since and his most notable co writes include, “Prom Queen”, by Molly Kate Kestner, and the Mega Hit, “too close” he co wrote with artist Alex
Clare. Jim continues to write and collaborate with artists, most recently, Natalie Imbruglia and Scottish Song writer Callum Beattie.
