Shigeaki Kato ( 加藤 シゲアキ,Kato Shigeaki,born July 11,1987) is a member of the japanese pop boy band NEWS under ELOV-Label formerly known as Johnny’s Entertainment.Kato was born in Hiroshima,Japan but he grew up in Osaka and Yokohama. He joined Johnny’s Entertainment on April 17,1999 when he was 11 years old.He debuted as a member of the j pop band NEWS in 2003. Along with other NEWS members, Kato can play the guitar and composed some of NEWS songs including his solo song Cacao which can be heard on the NEWS Best Album
