忌野清志郎 (Kiyoshirou Imawano)

Kiyoshirou Imawano (忌野清志郎, 1951–1990) was the founder of the band RC Succession (RCサクセション). He was known especially for his trademark voice and for his glam-influenced looks with loud clothing and androgynous makeup in the 1980s. After the band’s dissolution in 1991, he continued with a solo career that lasted until his death from cancer in 2009.
