Jerrÿ Jay is an electronic instrumentalist trending in Yangon. Sought after for his unique sound, he started off his journey at the age of 14; with a laptop and a heart full of dreams. He specializes in Mid-Tempo and Bass Music, but he is not limited by genres. The sky is the limit for him when it comes to music genres with additional genres including: melodic bass, trap, dubstep and so on.

Jerrÿ’s interest in music making was sparked when he started tweaking a fellow classmate’s voice using a digital audio workstation, which is when he realized he wanted a career to make more serious tunes. Early on, he drew inspiration from “Jack Ü” (Skrillex and Diplo) and attempted to emulate their “trap” genre in his several projects, but then shifted his interest into calmer genres like “melodic” in early 2017. He has recently delved into the substantially different genre of “midtempo”, and is currently working together with several producers, promoting and helping one another.

He has been recognized by the public here in Yangon, and was invited to notable radio stations for interviews, such as Teen Radio, and MI Radio with his group of friends. His remix of “Lay Htel Ka Eain” by Bunny Phyoe and Amera Hpone has been a hit nationwide with a 27.8k views on soundcloud, and a 14k download.
