About Jelani Imani

Jelani Esco Imani (born September 4th, 1999) is a recording artist, record producer, audio engineer, actor and singer.

After Jelani Imani was involved in the yearly iPOP convention by John Robert Powers Talent (now known as Eula Talent), he moved to Los Angeles (2006-2007) and was casted as “Goby” in the Nickelodeon Jr. animated series Bubble Guppies. He also appeared in various episodes as a guest role on the Disney animated series Special Agent Oso.
As a child musician, Imani has performed in many venues such as the Apollo Theatre in New York (2010) and the Venetian Hotel in Las Vegas (2007).

In a period of five years from 2014-2017, he released a series of projects to develop his craft and tame his boredom in high-school. This habit continued and ultimately lead to his leave from Georgia State University and the release of a demo entitled “Spit, a Guitar Demo.”

On September 4th, He released his debut independent project Shitjelani, 19yrs? fully produced and engineered by him in his grandmother’s house.
