Jean Edouard Louis Schultheis is a Moroccan-born French singer-songwriter, musician and producer better known for his hit Confidence pour confidence in 1981.
As musician, Schultheis played with Serge Gainsbourg, Johnny Hallyday, Michel Jonasz or Maxime Le Forestier.
As a songwriter and producer, he works with his friend Claude Puterflam on Puterflam’s second album Désabusé and the single La Petite in 1982. He produces other works such as Les Divas du dancing by Philippe Cataldo in 1981 or Julie Pietri’s first album Julie and the french hit Magdalena in 1980.
With Confidence pour confidence, Schultheis reaches number one in the hit parade, even himself was surprised to hear it on the radio the same year.
Schultheis also has a few other hits such as Va te faire voir in 1987.
