Jazztronik” is a free-form music project by Ryota Nozaki who is known as a composer, pianist and DJ. He began studying the piano at an early childhood and studied music composition with 2 contemporary composers from the age of 15 until he graduated from music university. In 1998, he debuted with the album “Numero Uno” which spread his name to the club jazz scene in Europe.
His track “Samurai” became one of his biggest hits worldwide and topped many DJs charts like Gilles Peterson, Danny Krivit and Louie Vega. His fame spread globally with “Samurai” and he became the best known Japanese DJ in the world. Jazzy Jeff chose “Samurai” as one of the tracks in his mixed CD. Also he became the first Japanese artist to be featured as the mixing DJ in “Defected In The House” which is the most known mixed CD series of House music. He has released more than 20 original albums so far. His latest original EP is ‘’Universal Language’’(Oct 2021).
