Hailing from Long Beach, California, Jayrah Gibson is a multiplatinum artist known for his vocal, songwriting, and producing credits on songs by artists such as BTS, EXO, DEAN, and TOMORROW X TOGETHER. Focusing mostly on music of the R&B and Hip-Hop genre, Gibson has worked alongside renowned artists, songwriters, and producers like Usher, Eric Bellinger, The Stereotypes, yungen, Sneakbo, and Ty Dolla $ign.
In 2014 he signed with Warner Chappell Music after participating in American Idol and working on EXO’s hit-song “으르렁 (Growl).” Among his credits is DEAN’s debut song “I’m Not Sorry,” as well as the R&B-focused song “풀어 (Pour Up).” He also participated in the making of EXO’s “LOVE ME RIGHT” and in 2019 he provided backing vocals and gained songwriting credits on “시차 (My Time),” off of BTS' 6x platinum album Map of the Soul: 7.
