Born Samuel Paul, JayPoppin is an independent artist who has meticulously forged his music career from the very foundation. For him, music serves as a vessel for encapsulating the myriad experiences of life—a sonic and emotional journey, if you will. Hailing from a deeply religious family in Southern Nigeria, with a DJ father, he honed his craft on the drums, keyboard, and bass guitar, gradually attaining self-sufficiency by performing at local events. Since then, JayPoppin’s prowess in the realms of hip-hop and rock blossomed while in Lagos, where he has solidified his position as a respected producer within a burgeoning record label. And so, he continues to chart his musical odyssey, steadfast and unyielding, to this very day.
