Jay0117 is a grime MC from Bristol, England. A regular on his city’s club circuit, he frequently appears at prestigious Bristol venues like Motion and Lakota, and has also played Love Saves the Day Festival.

Although he’d built a steady following off releases like the 2016 mixtape It Is What It Is and the 2017 EP Activated, Jay’s fanbase ballooned following an appearance at Red Bull’s Grime-a-Side 2017 clash tournament, which saw listeners vote him ‘Man of the Match’ in every one of his appearances.

He’s worked with an increasing number of popular grime MCs, including Eyez, Hitman and Jammz. In 2018, he released Win/Win, a collaborative EP alongside Birmingham MC Deadly, to positive reception. He’s currently working on a mixtape alongside tour DJ Sir Hiss, which is due to feature appearances from Manga Saint Hilare, Nikki S & Nyke among others.
