Jared Artaud is an American musician, producer, poet and artist born in New York City. He is the co-founder of electro post-punk band The Vacant Lots. Artaud has released two books of poetry (Empty Space, Tomorrow). In 2014, Artaud designed the artwork and co-produced The Vacant Lots debut album “Departure”. In 2017, he co-produced the final album “IT” by Alan Vega posthumously released on Fader and The Vacant Lots second album “Endless Night”. In 2018, Artaud handled art direction on 6 Alan Vega reissues released by GM Editions. Artaud currently lives and works in Brooklyn, New York.
