James Valentine

James Burgon Valentine, also known as “James Valentine” (born October 5, 1978, in Lincoln, Nebraska) is an American musician who is the lead guitarist and backing vocalist for the pop rock band Maroon 5. In addition to guitar, Valentine is also a percussionist, playing in an orchestra and jazz band in his youth.

Ever since Kara’s Flowers rebranded to Maroon 5 in 2001, he’s the only member alongside Adam Levine to appear in every single album.
