James Reid is a Filipino-Australian actor/musician
who emerged to stardom in the Philippines after winning Pinoy Big Brother: Teen Clash 2010.

Since then, he has starred in movies (Talk Back and You’re Dead, Para sa Hopeless Romantic, This Time, etc.) and TV shows (Good Vibes, On the Wings of Love, Till I Met You). He was also in a highly-publicized relationship with fellow actress and musician Nadine Lustre until their split in 2020, though the two still remain close friends and working partners.

He has released three albums (James Reid, Reid Alert, and Palm Dreams) and a collaborative EP with fellow Big Brother star, Bret Jackson (We Are Whatever).

In late 2018, he formed music label Careless Music Manila (CMM) with Bret Jackson and Vic Del Rosario. The label aims to further the OPM industry and welcome artists from abroad and from the Philippines.

In 2019, Reid announced his departure from Viva Entertainment, stating he needed a change and a break; his former partner Nadine Lustre stated that she would stay in the agency as she is a veteran in the agency and has no ill feelings towards the company when asked if she would follow James out of Viva. However, later, Lustrewould try to also leave Viva.
