James Murphy (Guitarist)

James Franklin Murphy (Portsmouth, Virginia, USA, July 30th, 1967) is a guitarist, guitar teacher, recording engineer and producer, best know for his work with the bands Death (1989-1990), Obituary (1990) and Testament (1993-1996 and 1998-2000). He also played in the band Disincarnate, released two solo albuns and played as guest or session guitarist on numerous albums like Death Shall Rise (1991) and Retribution (1992).
