James Hype, real name James Edward Lee Marsland, is a DJ, producer, and remixer from the North of England.

He is best known for his single “More than Friends” released by Warner Music on 7 July 2017, which reached number 8 in the UK Top 40 and number 1 in the UK Dance Singles Chart and “Ferrari” with Miggy Dela Rosa released by Island Records and The Cross Records on 15 March 2022, which reached number 6 in the UK Top 40 and number 4 in the UK Dance Singles Chart.

Before chart success, James made his name producing remixes for international artists including OT Genasis and Clean Bandit. He is also a DJ ambassador for the equipment manufacture Pioneer DJ in their online videos.
