JAMES (CORTIS)

Zhao Yufan (赵雨凡) under the stage name James (제임스) is a Thai-Hong Kongese singer-songwriter under BigHit Music, born on October 14, 2005, in Hong Kong and raised in Taiwan. He debuted as the oldest member of the boy group CORTIS on August 18, 2025.

He was a former member of the pre-debut boy group Trainee A. Following Trainee A’s debut cancellation, he participated as a backup dancer on the stage of BTS Jungkook’s solo song “Seven” promotional stages in 2023. James has written, composed, and participated in creating choreography for several songs for fellow HYBE artists, such as ILLIT’s “Magnetic” and TOMORROW X TOGETHER’s “Deja Vu”.
