James Bomb (real name James Amir Muhammad) is a writer, poet, performer, and a spoken word artist known mostly as one of the members of seminal rap group Public Enemy’s Security of the First World, who, aside from performing as the group’s backup dancers, also provide security for the group.

James Bomb started his career as a bodyguard under a company called Unity Force, formed by future Public Enemy member Professor Griff, providing security for the group that dates back to the days when the rap group was still known as Spectrum City.

He is currently planning to start a solo spoken word project, as well as writing a book.
