James Acaster is an English comedian and drummer from Kettering, Northamptonshire. Prior to becoming a comedian, Acaster was in a number of Kettering bands, including 3LineWhip, Pindrop, The New Hardcore Skiffle Movement, The Capri-Sun Quartet, Charlotte’s Own, and most well-known, The Wow! Scenario.

In October 2022, Acaster revealed his latest musical project, Temps, which he described as ‘a DIY Gorillaz’. The debut single, “no,no”, came out on November 4, 2022.
