Jake Longstreth

American painter and radio personality Jake Longstreth is best known as cohost of Beats 1 radio show Time Crisis with Ezra Koenig. Longstreth is a member of Southern California-based Grateful Dead cover band Richard Pictures, and he has released original music under the name Mountain Brews.
Born in Connecticut in 1977, Longstreth has a BFA from Lewis & Clark College in Portland, OR and an MFA from California College of the Arts in San Francisco. As a visual artist he specializes in landscape and architectural paintings. His art has been exhibited in Los Angeles, San Francisco, New York, and more.
Jake is the older brother of Dirty Projectors frontman David Longstreth. He married filmmaker Hannah Fidell in 2017.
