About JAG

Born Ryan Joyner, JAG, formally known as Chubby Jag, is one of many emcees coming up during West Coast’s revival of its once dominant Hip-Hop community.

In late-2018, JAG dropped 2700 with features from Trey Songz, Problem, Cozz, Ty Dolla $ign, and many more. In 2019, JAG followed up with Loren Miller, a two-part project.

JAG is also active in the battle rap community. Initially competing in two radio battles (both hosted by battle rap blogger AngryFan) under his former stage name in 2015, he later returned to the ring in 2020 on Rare Breed Entertainment, where he has maintained an active presence.
