About Jade Anderson

Jade Anderson was born in London, England, the daughter of Jon Anderson, the frontman of iconic prog-rock group Yes.

In 2002, Anderson attained some success in her own right with her debut single, “Sugarhigh.” The soft-spoken Latin-tinged pop tune drew critical plaudits became an international hit, charting in the US, the Netherlands, and Japan. That same year, she released her debut album, Dive Deeper, and a second, Japan-only single, “Sweet Memories.” After that, though, Anderson mostly went quiet, save for a handful of tunes on her MySpace page.

Musical ability also seems to run in the family: besides her father, Anderson’s older sister, Deborah, has also dabbled in music, recording a solo album and providing vocals for a handful of Telepopmusik recordings.
