Jad, the producer of VFKR and the co-founder of Bell Garden Records, is Kelby Hancock’s most well-known stage name. He spends most of his time managing the record label while also producing, mixing, and mastering for the majority of the artists and bands they’ve signed. When he’s alone and producing, though, Jad conjures up profound feelings of nostalgia for the 1990s in house music, giving it a nostalgic feel despite the fact that it’s brand new. He debuted under this alias in late 2019 with the track ‘razberi,’ which was followed by ‘stroberi,’ and ‘cr&beri,’ which were released in 2020.
