Angela Brookins-Gillispie, a.k.a. Jacki-O (b. November 24, 1971), is a Florida-born rapper signed to her own label, Virtuous Woman Entertainment.
Her breakout hit “Pussy (Real Good)” gained her fame in 2003, leading to comparisons to rapper Trina. She has collaborated with notable artists like Timbaland and DJ Khaled.
In 2014, she retired from rap to focus on her spiritual journey as an ordained minister. Jacki-O grew up in Miami’s Liberty City and faced legal troubles. Throughout her career, she released albums, mixtapes and even wrote a novel in 2008 called Grown & Gangsta. Despite hardships, she persevered and has openly spoke out against industry abuse.
