Jack Robert Avery (born 1 July 1999) is a member of pop boyband Why Don’t We alongside Daniel Seavey, Corbyn Besson, Jonah Marais and Zach Herron. He is a singer-songwriter who quickly built a fanbase thanks to his skills on piano and guitar accompanied by his soulful and smooth voice. He was also cast in a short film called Fearless Five. In 2016, Jack took part in the Impact Tour as a solo artist along with future bandmates Zach and Corbyn.
Alongside his fellow band members, Jack has created hits “Something Different”, “These Girls” and “Trust Fund Baby” alongside five EPs. The band does weekly mashups of songs that the “limelight” fandom suggests – to show off their vocals, harmonies and even affections towards certain songs. After major success, Why Don’t We became one of the largest boy bands in the United States. Their debut album 8 Letters was released on August 31st, 2018.
On Mother’s Day 2019, Jack announced the birth of daughter Lavender May Avery, born on April 22, to Gabriela Gonzalez. The pair and their families had successfully kept the whole pregnancy a secret up until the announcement. Band photographer, Zack Caspary was named as Lavender’s godfather.
