Jordan Cian Christie (born 16/04/1996), better known by his stage name J Rick ,is a London-based musician and producer best known for producing Octavian’s breakthrough singles “Party Here”, “Hands” and “Lightning”, the last of which was also featured in the video game FIFA 19. Noisey described “Party Here” as “a defining track in the cross-genre melange that makes up forward-thinking, left-leaning modern UK rap.”[1]

J Rick is also the official DJ for Octavian’s live shows, and performed together with him at festivals like Field Day, All Points East or Eurosonic and at Octavian’s European tour, including Sold out Kentish Town Forum show, where they bought out Skepta and AJ Tracey on stage.

J Rick has since gone to release his own music and accompanying music videos. The music video for “Short” was directed Armin Druzanovic and “Gone” was directed by Armin Druzanovic, co-directed by Barney Clark, both released by Warner UK.
