Vanessa Mahi (b. December 17, 1997) better known by her stage name Ivorian Doll is an English rapper and social media personality who was originally born in Germany.

Vanessa’s musical style is sassy, raw, honest and in-your-face. She frequently references her feistiness, independence and zero-tolerance attitude throughout her lyrics. She also cites female rap veteran Nicki Minaj as a major inspiration of hers.

After a public falling out with a former friend in late 2018, Vanessa teamed up with Abigail Asante to release a diss track titled “The Situation”. This marked the duo’s first of four collaborations.

In June 2019, Vanessa made her first solo venture with her “Lightwork Freestyle” which was premiered by PressPlayMedia.
“Queen of Drill” then followed which marked the rapper’s first official solo single to be released on streaming platforms.

Four months after, the single “Rumours” dropped. This would largely help her establish herself as a serious musician that could achieve commercial success. On the track, Vanessa addresses the gossip that has surrounded her since she was first introduced to the public eye.
