Real name Ben Townsend, Melbourne indie rapper Ivan Ooze saw a quick rise to the spotlight in 2014 after gaining attention through his freestyles on Facebook. His rapper name is borrowed from his favourite Power Rangers villain.

3 successful mix-tape releases has continued his growing fan base in the local hip hop community, however a lack of label support has seen no studio albums as of yet. Despite this, Ivan has toured Australia with massive names such as Cypress Hill, Ice Cube, and Wu-Tang Clan.
