Intro was an R&B trio consisting of Jeff Sanders, Clinton “Buddy” Wike and lead singer/songwriter Kenny Greene. The group released two albums with Atlantic Records, their debut self-titled album in 1993 and a sophomore album, New Life in 1995.
They are best known for the hits “Come Inside,” “Funny How Time Flies,” and their 1993 cover of Stevie Wonder’s “Ribbon In the Sky.”
After Kenny Greene’s passing from complications with AIDS in 2001, the group temporarily disbanded before taking on two other members in an attempt to continue recording music.
