Nick Garver, known professionally as Internetboy (IBOY), began his career after moving to Cincinnati in 2015. Immersing himself in the local underground scene, he connected with artists like Jasiah, Suicide Rascal, Grandace, and Leo Pastel. This collective, briefly known as Apollo 18, garnered early attention from media outlets such as No Jumper, Lyrical Lemonade, and Hivemind TV. Music videos for tracks like “Know My Vision” and “HAHAHA” spread across the internet, leading to IBOY’s official collaboration with Hivemind TV. This partnership resulted in featured vlogs, interviews, and the creation of the popular song “Door Stop” with new artists.

Following a mini-tour with Hivemind, Internetboy released the infectious indie-pop track “Mars Man” with FL.VCO, which was shared by Tommy Craze and made a significant impact overnight. This success led to a string of hits including “Shonen and Ramen” with Origami Beats and “Hair Pin” with Billy Marchiafava. Around this time, Grammy-winning producer DJ Corbett discovered IBOY’s early work, leading to a collaboration on songs for Cal Scruby, including ‘Money Buy Drugs'—which has become Scruby’s biggest song to date with over 26 million streams.

IBOY was later discovered by artist tobi lou, for whom he produced “Hot Tub Dream Machine,” a track that has amassed over 20 million streams. This sparked a long-term creative relationship spanning multiple albums, EPs, and singles, including tracks featuring Young Thug, Chief Keef, and Saba. Most recently, IBOY landed a production credit on Coco & Clair Clair’s album ‘Girl’ for the track ‘Bitches pt 2’.

Currently based in Detroit, Internetboy continues to release new music, including dance records for the club and collaborative hits with artists like Rob Apollo.
