Intence (born Tashawn Gabbidon) is a dancehall artist based out of Tavern, St. Andrew, Jamaica where he attended Mona High school. His father was a dancehall DJ, therefore he inherited that particular love for music. When he graduated from high school, he began to spend more time in the community studio recording songs. While building his career, he was associated with the likes of dancehall artists Aidonia and Iwaata, in which he gradually became more popular in his Tavern community.
