As a trio of roommates, Instalok has grown well with their parody videos on YouTube. The SoCal band focuses on writing parodies for their two favorite games: League of Legends and Overwatch. Unlike other parody channels, the band lacks a “break-out” song that seemingly raked in subscribers. Instead, Instalok Patrick prides the band for maintaining their relevancy and comical edits.

The band has made music since 2013 with their debut song, “AP Shaco Pentakill.” Originally, the band used third-party background instrumentals, but after multiple copyright strikes, Instalok Tony began mixing their own. As their fan-base rose, Instalok began collaborating with fellow League of Legends parody-writers, especially Lunity who dated Instalok Chris for some time.
