Illegal Civilization

Illegal Civilization is a skate crew and artistic collective based in North Hollywood, California, consisting of members such as the brand’s creator, Mikey Alfred, Olan Prenatt, Na-Kel Smith, Ryder McLaughlin, Nico Hiraga, and more.

Beginning as a mere skate crew that filmed regularly at parks, the group released Illegal Civilization 1 and 2, receiving exceptional praise. The group then evolved into a brand, selling clothing, ranging from graphic t-shirts to cut and sew pieces and accessories, beginning to make short films as well.

The group is known for its affiliation with Tyler, The Creator, with Mikey filming both the Wolf Documentary and the Cherry Bomb Documentary, as well as working with other skate crews and artists such as Mac Miller.
