About iLL BLU

iLL BLU (James Grant & Darius Ellington Forde) is a producer duo hailing from North London who, since 2008, were pivotal in shaping the UK Funky sound through their work on Princess Nyah’s anthem “Frontline” and their infamous remix of Shystie’s “Pull It”.

Moreover, the duo were the masterminds behind “Chop My Money” featuring Krept & Konan, ZieZie and Loski and have been working with the likes of Geko, Headie One, Not3s, IAMDDB and Young T & Bugsey to name a few. They also produced the majority of MoStack’s top 3 album ‘Stacko’ last year, including the gold and silver certified singles ‘What I Wanna’ and ‘Shine Girl’ featuring Stormzy. (via BRIT Certified)

The producers have gone far beyond their UK Funky origins, branching out across the UK underground scene while maintaining a strong crossover appeal with each release.

“Magic” featuring Bandokay and Double Lz has shown versatility from the OFB youngers, and their ability to put out a flow on iLL BLU’s beat.
