About Ihsan Nurrachman

Ihsan Nurrachman is a former musician from Bandung, Indonesia, best known for his stint as a session bassist for the band Peterpan and its later incarnation, Noah.

At the urging of his old friend David Albert – who had recently started playing with Peterpan – Ihsan accepted the invitation to play live with the band in 2008 just before they ceased using the name the following year, and stayed with them through their transition into Noah in 2012. During this period, he played bass on the transitional instrumental album Suara Lainnya credited to Ariel-Uki-Lukman-Reza-David and on the majority of songs for Noah’s debut album, Seperti Seharusnya. He also co-wrote two songs with David for the album, including lead single “Separuh Aku”.

Ihsan stayed with Noah until 2013, when he left the band and retired from music altogether on religious grounds.
