IDKHIM (pronounced “I Don’t Know Him”) is Chuma Ossé’s alter-ego, stemming from a producer’s need to vent over one’s own production.
Ossé, born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, produces, writes, and performs his own music. The unique sonic landscapes he creates, while drawing inspiration from a multitude of artists and genres (ranging from Kid Cudi to Fela Kuti) provides a refreshingly new sound to the Pop, Hip-Hop, and R&B genres.
Already, IDKHIM has performed at local New York City venues, such as Fat Baby, The Studio at Webster Hall (opening for Toni Romiti), Webster Hall VIP Room, and The Theatre at Ace Hotel Los Angeles. IDKHIM has also performed at numerous universities such as Northwestern University, Syracuse University, and NYU, where he currently attends at the Clive Davis Institute of Recorded Music under the Tisch School of the Arts.
With an eye on mogul status, and under close mentorship by the likes of radio mogul Combat Jack, and Grammy Award-Winning producer Teddy Vann, IDKHIM is surely a musician to look out for.
