Ian “Twig” Gibson

Ian Gibson is a musician who is best known as the current bassist of the band Sad Lovers and Giants.

First joining the band for their 1987 release “The Mirror Test”, he was soon replaced by former bassist Cliff Silver.
After that, he joined SLaG offshoot The Snake Corps where he replaced former Sad Lovers and Giants keyboard/saxophonist David Wood on the keyboard.

When Sad Lovers and Giants reformed in 2009 to celebrating Cherry Red’s rerelease of Feeding The Flame and Epic Garden Music, Ian once again took up the bass, and has been playing with SLaG ever since.
