About I Prevail

Since their formation in 2013, the post-hardcore Detroit-based band has quickly garnered a global fan base with their potent mixture of aggressive rock, electronic arrangements, and seamless melodic elements. Their current lineup consists of clean vocalist Brian Burkheiser, unclean vocalist Eric Vanlerberghe, lead guitarist and studio bassist Steve Menoian, and rhythm guitarist Dylan Bowman, and Gabe Helguera on the drums.

I Prevail first gained popularity after posting a cover of “Blank Space” by Taylor Swift on YouTube the first of December in 2014. It was later added as a bonus track to Fearless Records' Punk Goes Pop Vol. 6. Ten days later, two singles for their debut EP were released, “Love, Lust, and Liars” and “The Enemy” Shortly after in January 2015, I Prevail released the EP Heart vs. Mind.

In June of 2016, I Prevail announced their debut album Lifelines would be released in October. “Scars” was the first single, released July 1st, followed by “Stuck in Your Head” and “Come and Get It” released August 14 and September 28, respectively.

I Prevail toured all summer long on the Vans Warped Tour in 2017. At the Loudwire Music Awards, their song “Alone” won Hard Rock Song of the Year.

In 2019, I Prevail released a series of singles before their second LP Trauma was released on March 29. The first single released on February 18 was “Bow Down,” immediately followed by “Breaking Down” a couple hours later. “Paranoid” was released on March 18.
