Chae Hyungwon (Hangul: 채 형원) or Hyungwon, was born in Gwangju, South Korea on January 15, 1994. He is the lead dancer, lead vocalist, and visual of the boy group MONSTA X.

Besides being a member of MONSTA X, Hyungwon also used the name DJ H. One to release EDM collaborations with other producers like Justin Oh and Jimmy Clash.

In 2019, Hyungwon collaborated with Hongbin of the boy group, VIXX for the song, “Cool Love”.

In 2020, Hyungwon participated in the writing, composing, and arranging the song “Nobody Else” for Monsta X’s album Fatal Love. It is the first song in which he was involved in each aspect of the song’s production.
