Hwang Minhyun, known best by the moniker Minhyun, is a vocalist from South Korean band NU'EST and a member of former project group Wanna One.

Minhyun debuted with NU'EST in 2012 and was met with success in their initial albums, however interest in the group dwindled in later years. At his (and his members) request, he joined Mnet’s Produce 101 Season 2 along with 3 of his 4 bandmates in hopes of capturing fans attention once more. Ultimately, Minhyun’s natural charisma and hard work on the show captured the hearts of fans and landed him a position in Wanna One.

Minhyun then went on to promote with Wanna One for a year and a half before the group’s disbandment in 2019.

In 2019, he returned to NU'EST and resumed promotions with his original four bandmates. The group has released multiple chart topping albums since.
