Lawrence Franks Jr (January 1, 1989 – June 25, 2020), better known by his stage name Huey, was an American rapper from St. Louis, Missouri. Huey was signed to Jive Records and released his debut album in 2007. The album features his debut single, and biggest hit in his career, with “Pop, Lock & Drop It”.
On June 25, 2020, he died at the age of 31 due to wounds inflicted to him in a shooting.
