HTHAZE is an Atlanta based Pop/RnB solo artist, multi-instrumentalist, and producer. Born Hamilton Troy Hayes, HTHAZE’s style is reminiscent of an early Blackbear and postmodern Pop/RnB. His influences include Hoodie Allen, The 1975, Terror Jr, and Pryde. He first made waves in the scene with the release of his first album Nimbus and the second single “Trust Issues” featuring Joey Gatto.
Born in Dunwoody, Georgia in 1994. At the age of 15, Troy starting creating covers of popular songs and songs from his childhood. When arriving at college Troy took on the name HTHAZE and started to mold his brand from the ground up. Since then, HTHAZE has been growing and flourishing as a young artist in the music industry.
HTHAZE’s music has been considered the bridge between Pop, Neo-Soul, R&B and Alternative Electronic. In 2016, HTHAZE released the Fake Friends EP which trended on Twitter at #4 for 6 hours. Eight months later, HTHAZE released his debut 8 track album, “Nimbus” which feature the songs, “Mad Unfortunate,” “Royalty,” “Depths” and “Trust Issues.”
Since then, Troy has been releasing singles and covers each month leading up to the next project. HTHAZE’s dream is to tour the United States and meet all of the people and supporters that have got him to where he is today.
