Hovi Star is an Israeli singer who represented Israel at the Eurovision Song Contest 2016. He rose to fame in Israel when he joined Kokhav Nolad in 2009. He was chosen to be Israel’s representative at Eurovision when he won The Next Star to the Eurovision, Israel’s national selections.
Hovi is a trained hair stylist and make-up artist. He is openly gay. He is best known for his unique side par hairstyle and distinctive dressing style.
