He is only officially confirmed to have written the band’s songs, collaborating with Hardy Fox until Fox left the band before his death in 2018, though the level of anonymity has been significantly dropped in recent decades – such as in the 2000s his apparent adoption of a mask just covering the top of his face as “Randy Rose”.
