Hirokazu Ando (born 1969) is a Japanese composer from HAL Laboratory. He first joined the company in 1991, before going on to become the lead composer of the Kirby series of games.
He was the sole composer of the original Super Smash Bros, but he first composed the soundtrack of HyperZone. Throughout his career, he largely participated in the composition of many Kirby games, like Kirby: Nightmare in Dream Land (2002), Kirby Squeak Squad (2006) and Kirby Fighters Deluxe. After he became the lead composer of the Kirby franchise, the sound tests in the main games indicated songs composed by Hirokazu with blue musical notes.
